Evening of Departure: Check-in on board MV Queen Scuba between 14:00-16:00 hours. We will show you to your cabin and start to set up equipment. Then we will introduce the staff, provide a boat and safety briefing followed by dinner. From here it’s sweet dreams as we cruise into the sunset on our overnight journey to Moyo Island, north west Sumbawa. |

Day 2 |
Moyo Island will be our first stop, diving a couple of the best sitesAngel Reef and Panjang Reef, then we head south toward Satonda Island for a couple more dives. As we prepare for the first night dive you may have the chance to see the bats of Satonda take flight into the sunset. After a great dive you will be greeted with a hot towel on the dive platform and then another delicious dinner as we cruise overnight toSangeang Island, off the north coast of Sumbawa. Dives: 4 dives today |

Three dives around the volcanic Island of Sangeang, surrounded by black sand that gives an entirely different feel to the trip. Definitely a day for the macro lovers with rare nudi species, Pygmies and the chance to see underwater hot springs and the diverse life that thrives in the area, then to Gili Banta for a night dive. Dives: 4 dives today |

Day 4 |
Manta Alley, the name says it all. On the southern tip of Komodo we will be in cold water, anywhere between 20 to 25 degrees. In this area we hope to spend two or three dives with Manta Rays, bum head parrot fish, turtles and on the very rarest of dives we have seen Mola Mola in this area. For our night dive we will head over to Nusa Kode on the southern side of Rinca Island for one of our favorite night dives of the whole trip. Dives: 4 dives today |

Day 5 |
This day is devoted to the macro life and stunning reefs around Nusa Kode and Rinca Islands. These four dives can provide sightings of frogfish, pygmy seahorses, zebra crabs, orangutan crabs, pipe fish, nudis and much much more. These dives will be in colder water again but with all the life in this area you will hardly notice the temperature. You will be amazed as the wildlife passes by, dragons on the beach, monkeys, deer and wild pigs full of activity along the shore. Dives: 4 dives today |

Gili Law Laut Island just north of Komodo Island is filled with some great pelagic action. White tip and grey reef sharks, schools of giant trevally, tuna, and much more, Be prepared for some strong current on these dives as this is where the big stuff lives. We may choose to do four dives in this area or move on to another great night dive along the east side of Komodo Island. Dives: 4 dives today |

Day 7 |
We will start the day with two dives around Current City with Batu Bolong or Tatawa Kecil and the afternoon trekking on Komodo Island looking for the Komodo Dragons. The trek will take approximately one hour with a couple small hills as we come across some spectacular scenery and the chance to take some great photos. Dives: 2 dives today |

Arrive Labuan Bajo Airport 13:30, transfer to Queen Scuba. We will embark to the Komodo National Park where we will have our first dive at approximately 16:00. The first dive will be in the northern Komodo area around Sebayor Kecil with a nice relaxing reef dive. This will allow everyone to get comfortable back in the water with nice calm conditions. Our second dive will be a night dive in a bay with nice calm waters. Dives: 2 dives today |

Day 2 |
The second day near Gili Lawa Laut Island just north of Komodo Island is filled with some great pelagic action. White tip and grey reef sharks, schools of giant trevally, tuna, and much more, Be prepared for some strong current on these dives as this is where the big stuff lives. We may choose to do four dives in this area or move on to another great night dive on the east side of Komodo Island. Dives: 4 dives today |

We will start the day with a nice trek on Komodo Island looking for the world famous Komodo Dragons. The trek will take approximately one hour with a couple small hills as we come across some spectacular scenery and the chance to take some great photos. We will continue the day with three dives around Padar Island with some colder water where the macro life and amazing reefs will provide some incredible memories. Dives: 3 dives today |

Day 4 |
This day is devoted to the macro life and stunning reefs around Nusa Kode and Rinca Islands. With three day dives and one night dive we will look for frogfish, pygmy seahorses, zebra crabs, orangutan crabs, pipefish, nudis and much much more. These dives will be in colder water again but with all the life in this area you will hardly notice the temperature. Off to Moyo Island for our last dive of the trip along a crystal clear reef with schools of fish and amazing coral life, then a nice afternoon and evening as we make our way back to Bali. The above itineraries are meant as a guide ONLY and reflect an example cruise schedule. Exact dive sites and destinations may change at the discretion of the cruise director and captain. Number of dives are meant as an indication of maximum number of dives and may be subject to change. 8 day cruises can vary between 20-22 dives and 6 day cruises 15-16 dives.

The Queen Scuba will offer three different options to our guests during our Scuba Safaris to this world famous dive destination in Indonesia. The diversity of diving available, the huge area this marine reserve covers and the incredible array of divesites in this region mean that the more time you have to spend here the better!
We have provided the option for our guests to explore the entire Raja Ampat region from North to South over an incredible 13 day 12 night schedule.
For those who just do not have the time to spend two weeks exploring some of the best dive sites in the world we have provided the option of a 7 day 6 night cruise in either the North or South of this region.
All trips will begin and end in Sorong, the first leg of the trip exploring the Northen sites of Raja Ampat from the Dampier Straits through to the Northern islands of Fam, Kawe and Wayag before returning to Sorong to allow guests to depart or join the boat before leaving for the Southern sites of Raja Ampat which are mainly concentrated around the Island of Misool. Below is a sample schedule for these cruises, please be aware that due to the large area these trips cover and the huge choice of dive sites available to us this schedule should be used as a guide only and this itinerary is a sample. The actual itinerary will be similar but will vary with conditions during each trip. Strength and direction of current, weather, visibility and conditions will all be taken into account on each trip. Most divesites on Raja depend very much on the direction and strength of current, therefore each days schedule will be determined by the Captain and Cruise director to give you the best possible diving experience we can provide.

| Day 1 |
You will be met at your hotel in Sorong and transported to the Queen Scuba, boarding at approx. 13:00-14:00 where after being shown to your cabin and given a general orientation to the boat we will have the chance to enjoy a check out dive and late sunset dive close to Sorong at Bird's Head Peninsula. These dives are in calm water to facilitate organizing proper weight and to check all equipment is working correctly and also give us a chance to ensure that everyone is diving in groups of similar experience and ability. Not just a check out dive however as divers will have the chance to see baby Wobbegong Sharks, flasher wrasse, frogfish, multiple species of anemone fish, nudibranchs, seapens, stonefish, lionfish, bommies covered with crinoids and glassfish and plenty of nice schools of fish. Day 2 |
We will spend an amazing day diving around the Dampier Straits between Waigeo and Batanta islands where divesites such as Sardine Reef, which has been described as the best reef dive in the world, off Kri island will introduce you to the amazing variety of marine life on display in this region. In this area you can expect huge numbers of fish with dogtooth tuna and trevally packed so closely together they often block out the sunlight. Huge gangs of Bumphead parrotfish, snappers and fusiliers make it impossible to know where to look. At Mike’s Point it is possible to find pygmy seahorses and all manner of critters, but trying to take your eyes away from the unbelievable schooling life is a real challenge in these parts! Chicken Reef and Cape Cri continue the amazing diving with tornados of huge barracuda a favorite sight here Grey reef sharks, blacktips and whitetips can also be seen along with the wobbegong waiting in ambush on the sea floor. Just incase you wake up with the idea that yesterdays diving was all just a dream an early morning dive at the Southern end of Waigeo island will give us a chance to dive one of Raja Ampat’s most famous divesites The Passage lying between Waiego and Gam island.This is a truly unique divesite and one worth visiting more than once Described by Andrea Ferrari in Wetpixel 2007: “A five meter deep, river-like sea fjord, snaking inside the forest, the tree canopies often closing above it, strange purple sponges and gigantic orange sea fans almost reaching over the surface, the sea and sky mirroring each other. A mystical place, rich in silent grottoes, underwater passages, submerged tunnels leading to still underwater pools hidden inside the forest, sun rays slanting down in the green darkness, like light shining through a cathedral’s multicolored widows... Yes this is heaven for me. Welcome to the Passage. Welcome to Raja Ampat.” Above water the sheer limestone cliffs make this a place where the sightseeing above water is also excessively beautiful. South West of Waigeo Island we can find two large Manta cleaning stations where huge Black and White Manta’s, some exceeding 5 meters, come to clean for hours at a time, an incredible days diving! Day 4 |
Kawe Island is one of the few areas in the world where it is possible to dive in both hemispheres without moving the boat! Dive sites such as Eagle Rock and Black Rock attract not only abundant fish life but also feeding manta rays and larger pelagic for photographers with wide angle lens’! Further North at Wayag Island we can look out for grey reef sharks patrolling the current rich waters along hard coral gardens and sloping walls decorated with sea fans soft corals and thousands of reef fish. Day 5 |
Spending the day at the Fam Island group you will discover a true paradise both above and below the warm clear blue waters of the area. Unblemished coral gardens of hard and soft corals are found at every point of the shallows. Ancient giant clams, now rare elsewhere in the world, can be easily found at dive sites such as Melisa’s garden and Yebeh Kecil. The Fam Islands are the very definition of paradise. White limestone cliffs plunge into the sea, ultramarine blue lagoons nestled next to monumental towers and pinnacles, untouched beaches... there are many places that claim to be this beautiful, this is the genuine article. The Air Borei Jetty is also an incredible dive that most divers will want to explore more than once and nearby Manta point also gives us the chance to find more manta’s! Dives: 4 dives today |

We will return to the amazing Dampier Straits to give ourselves another chance to immerse ourselves in the giant schools of snappers, trevally, tuna and barracuda that frequent this area.before heading to shore to enjoy a beach BBQ and toast the previous weeks diving adventure with new friends and diving buddies. The first day's diving on this Southern leg of the trip is spent in and around Batanta Island. Batanta is the definition of muck diving in Raja Ampat. Mimc octopus, mandarin fish, inimicus, ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorse... the list of critters you can find is endless the area also offers some fantastic hard coral sites at which you can see the rather ‘flat’ tasselled wobbegong. The gorgonian fans here and in many other parts of Raja Ampat are the ideal habitat for pygmy seahorses and it is possible to spot both Denise and Bargabanti pygmies here. At Wai there are a pair of Second World War planes which also provide some great diving. Dives: 4 dives today |

Day 3 (Day 9) |
Wake up in Misool one of the larger islands in the archipelago. The stunning reefs around Misool offer a breathtaking kaleidoscope of colour, sloping walls are carpeted with soft corals of every colour imaginable providing a home for all manner of critters from ghost pipefish to harlequin shrimp to pygmy seahorses. We will spend the day diving around these small islands with four dives split between Misool and Farondi. The corals here are particularly magnificent with Three Sisters having a reputation as one of the best dives in Raja Ampat. Huge school of snapper, sweetlips and batfish adorn the walls while other popular divesites in this area include Farondi Arch, with it’s spectacular natural arch, and Wagmab Wall with it’s incredible walls, overhangs, caverns and caves, beautiful sea fans and coral whips that flourish among the varied seascapes. Day 4 (Day 10) |
South Misool is the focus for this day where you can dive Fiabacet an Boo island. We will spend our day by exploring Boo rock and Boo Point east, where we can see large Napoleon Wrasse and Green Turtles . Boo rock is famous for the ‘’windows’’ or rounded openings on the southern end of the largest rock that completely pierce the reef from the surface down to about five meters. Although the two rocks seem to be separate structures at the surface, they are infact connected underwater by a superb, vibrant and healthy reef draped in soft corals and bursting with fish life. Day 5 (Day 11) |
Spend the whole day in the Fiabacet Islands between Kalig and Boo. These rocky islands rise up out of the sea but are spectacular underwater. Sharks are frequently seen in this area and even dolphins can be seen here so keep your eyes open and expect the unexpected!. Bumphead parrot fish, trevallies and jacks are some of the larger fish we will encounter Tongka and the Tugboat are two of the must see dives you will have a chance to explore today. Day 6 (Day 12) |
This is your last day's diving and can be spent around the island of Pele where Pygmy sea horses, ghost pipefish, wobbegong sharks and dancing anchovies are all seen here we can dive at the Toblerone where the rock formations mirror that popular chocolate bar. The caverns, cracks and overhangs here are ideal for photographers. Alternatively we can return to the Dampier straits to dive at some of Raja Ampats most popular divesites such as Sardine Reef and Mike’s Point before enjoying a BBQ on the beach and final night party on board that evening. Full Charter
MV Queen Scuba is available for full charter, Indonesia trips you pay for 16 spaces and get 1 berth in standard triple share cabin free of charge.
All prices are applicable for the 2011-2012 Raja Ampat season only.
Booking Policy

On receipt of a 30% deposit for the specified cruise, we will send you a confirmation.

The balance payment of 70% must be paid one month before departure.

If we do not receive the balance in time, P.T Raja Adventure retains the right to cancel the booking and resell the space.
Nitrox Divers
MV Queen Scuba now has Colti Sub Nitrox membrane on board - unlimited Nitrox is available for every diver.
1. The Early Bird Booking get Free Nitrox for every dives, offer for guests that book at least 3 months in advance and pay in full at time of booking.
2. Dive Every Dive on Nitrox.

Normal Price 6 Euros per Nitrox Dive.

Nitrox Package 7 days/6 nights 18 dives: 62 Euros

Nitrox Package 13 days/ 12 nights 36 dives: 124 Euros
3. Take Nitrox Course on board Queen Scuba only 168 Euros, all nitrox dives are free of charge if you take the course on board.

Indonesia National Marine Park and Port Fee 2011 are not included.

National Park and Port Fees per person € 60 for whole trip.

Port and Park Fees are subject to change depending on government regulation.

US$/Euros are accepted on board at the boats exchange rate for that cruise.
