Day 1	MEDAN - BUKIT LAWANG Pick up by private transportation from Medan and journey for 3 hours to Bukit Lawang and the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park. Overnight accommodation by the Bohorok River. A chance to relax after a long journey and spot the resident wildlife from a fantastic vantage point. Day 2	BUKIT LAWANG Early start and a visit the semi wild orangutan feeding platform followed by a short 3 hour trek with the head guide. A time to acclimatise to the humidity in preparation for the jungle trekking the following day. Meals :                       Breakfast - Lunch Accommodation :      Eco Lodge or similar
Days 3-9	TREKKING GUNUNG LEUSER Start of a 5 day trekking expedition into wild orangutan territory. 5 or 6 hours trekking through the jungle and crossing rivers to reach the first night’s camp. Learn some jungle skills with the guides; making fires; building camps and cooking jungle food. Pack up camp in the morning and begin the day’s trekking. Take the chance to spot wildlife such as orangutans, gibbons, hornbills, siamangs and thousands of different insects, plants and trees. The biodiversity of Gunung Leuser National Park is breathtaking with approximately 700 different species of animals (320 birds, 176 mammals and 194 reptiles and amphibians) living in this region. Day 10	TREKKING GUNUNG LEUSSER Early start and travel by private transportation to Marike and the start of the 6 hour white water rafting journey. Stop of en route at hot springs for swimming and enjoy a jungle picnic at a stunning waterfall. The journey ends in Bohorok, only 15 mins from the accommodation alongside the Bohorok River. Enjoy some local singing and guitar playing for the final evening in the jungle. Meals :                       Breakfast Accommodation :      Eco Lodge or similar
Day 11	MEDAN - OUT Today is the day that most travelers hated. Have your breakfast in hotel. It is one of those days where they have to leave Paradise and back to reality. Importan Note:

1. A good physical is required for this expedition; conditions can be quite hot and sometimes exhausted due to humidity and steep slopes.
   
2. The water during the trek will be taken from the river and boiled, if relevant, can bring water purification tablets.
   
3. The porters carry all the materials for camping mats and food, you are responsible to bring your own sleeping bag, clothes, camera and others who need to carry their own backpack. If you need a private carrier for you, tell us to hire extras.
