Manado is located at the north-western tip of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, just south of the Philippines. Its people stems primarily from the Minahasans, while its heritage is interjected with Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese influences.

Travelers from the outside South East Asia tend to fly via Singapore with Silk Air , Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia or Jakarta.

Kima Bajo Resort & Spa features 18 luxury Bunga Villas with a sunken outdoor bathtub and shower, an exclusive Grand Villa with its own private swimming pool and 12 spacious longhouse rooms. ECO DIVERS

Based at Kima Bajo Resort & Spa,Eco Divers is a PADI 5 Star Center. The purpose built boats are built in a traditional design, powered by energy efficient double outboard engines and have comfort features including sundeck, camera rinse tanks and shaded salon. They take divers to over 30 dive sites with speed and comfort, each carrying a maximum of just 8 guest divers.Snorkellers and non-divers are also welcome to join the trips. Dive groups are kept very small – just 4 guests to each guide. At the jetty a camera storage facility with individual lockers is available for guests’ use. Our daily dive program to Bunaken National Park offers a two-tank morning trip and one-tank afternoon trip. The morning trip departs at 8.15am and the boats return at around 1pm, so guests can enjoy lunch at Kima Bajo Resort. The afternoon trip departs at 3pm and returns by around 4.30-5.00pm. Night dives, special trips to Lembeh Strait and PADI dive courses can be arranged on request.

MARINE PARK

Dive the teeming coral walls of Bunaken National Marine Park’s warm waters or explore the world’s best critter diving in the Lembeh Strait. North Sulawesi has it all. There are more marine species here than even on the Great Barrier Reef.A dominating volcanic landscape creates a unique backdrop for you to discover North Sulawesi, one of the world’s best dive destinations. The year-round diving here is all about amazing variety and exotic surroundings. The deep seas give excellent average visibility (25m). They are also home to many unusual species, such as “coelacanth” ( pehistoric fish) as well as reef-shark, turtles, eagle rays, napoleon wrasse, even dugong and orca! The majority of sites are conveniently accessed within one hour from your hotel and yet North Sulawesi’s remote location means that the sites are never crowded with other divers. Our dive center is manage by Eco Divers a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre offering a full range of diving services from day and night dives to PADI courses

Witness the many distinct churches filled with local worshippers. Then on to Lake Tondano where local restaurants, fringed by rice paddies offer a refreshing sojourn from the town. For more adventurous, white water rafting, hiking through the many farms, horse back riding and trekking in the rainforest of Tangkoko Nature Reserve are activities all within an easy drive from the resort. The Tangkoko Nature Rerserve is home to unique flora, birds and primates such as the Black Crested Macaques and the world’s smallest monkey, Tarsius Spectrum. PAYMENT TERMS

To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit of US$ 100/person must be paid. Once confirmed, our
cancellation policy applies (see below). Balance of payment must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival in resort.

If booking is made within 30 days of arrival date, full payment is required in advance to confirm
booking.


CANCELLATION POLICY

• More than 30+ days from date of arrival deposit forfeited
  
• 30 – 15 days from date of arrival 30% penalty
  
• 14 – 07 days from date of arrival 50% penalty
  
• 7 – 1 days from date of arrival “No Show” 100% penalty

Family Policy

• A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 can share a room.
  
• Bedding in the room will be one king size bed and one extra bed.
  
• (Grand Villa suite: A maximum of 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 12 can share the Grand Villa.
  
• Bedding in the room will be one king size bed in one room and 2 twin with one extra bed in the other room.)
  
• Children under the age of 2 in baby cot (1 per room) will be charged at the same rate as children sharing the bed with parents.
