Day 1

ARRIVED ON FLORES


Arrival at Wai Oti Airport Maumere, meeting with our guide and Driving-up to Moni for 4 hours with several stops at Ledalero - a major Catholic Seminary - to visit the museum with its various collection of local royal families' old portraits, antique hand woven clothes, staged eon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village - to see the old church built in the 16th Century. Onto Paga or Wolowaru for having lunch. Accommodation and dinner at KELIMUTU ECOLODGE MONI.

Day 2

MONI - VOLCÁN KELIMUTU - RIUNG


After an early morning breakfast at 5.30 drive up to Kelimutu volcano to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival walk for 1,5 km and then ascend 127 steps to top to view Kelimutu green, blue and black lakes. A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Descend to Moni village to visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lioness houses, stone seats and traditional sacred cemetery. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Ende. Continue drive to Riung through some parts of bumpy road with several stops according to local happenings.

Day 3

SNORQUEL IN REEFS OF SEVENTEEN ISLANDS


After breakfast take a boat trip to explore the spectacular sea garden of seventeen islands. The reef of “Seventeen Islands” is very spectacular - with a variety of hard and soft corals and lots of colorful fish. There are 17 islands in total, with plenty of idyllic white sand beaches for swimming and a multitude of coral species and sea creatures to discover. Lunch & BBQ will be provided at the island,sail back to Riung then driving up to Bajawa. With stop at Soa - a natural hot spring water for taking bathing. Bajawa - is a cool and small town as a capital city of Ngada Regency (home of Ngada, Riung and Nagekeo tribes).

Day 4

BAJAWA AND TRIBES


Early morning drive to feet at WAWOMUDA to trek the volcano with its crater by 1 ½ hours. Then back to Bajawa to have breakfast. Lunch box will be served en route, trekking down to Bena & Todolela villages to explore traditional village of Bajawa tribes. Visit Luba & Bena - are megalithic villages where people do preserve their ancestral spirits believed and way of life which can be seen in their "Ngadhu" and "Bhaga" - conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirits. On the way you will stop on the slope of Inerie active volcano for taking pictures. Trekking down to Todolela village to overnight and dinner at houses of villagers.

Day 5

HIKING IN THE JUNGLE AND NATURAL SPA


After breakfast trekking down to Gurusina village with passing through the very interesting strong agriculture influenced area. Water buffaloes and other domestics animals like pigs and goats are on the way, also vanilla, candle nut, cacao, white pepper, coffee and other various kinds of plantations. Trekking continue to Malanage hot spring to have taking bating on meeting point cool & hot water. After lunch driving back to Bajawa to overnight stay and dinner.

Day 6

VOLCANOES, RICE FIELDS AND ARAK

Lunch will be provided enroute, then continue overland to Ruteng. Stops will be made at "Ranamese" Lake, and snapshot at magnificent peak of Mt. Inerie - an active volcano. Overland to Labuan Bajo - the Western tip of Flores Island. On the way stops will be made at Lembor and Cancar to see the unexposed world wonder “Lingko” - The spider web shape rice fields. It’s probably the only such a rice field ever exist on earth and other places according to local happenings. On arrival direct check into your hotel for accommodation and meals.

Day 7

LABUAN BAJO – KOMODO NATIONAL PARK AND RINCA


Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to harbor and board on a wooden boat (a local boat which has been modified to enable and suitable for carrying tourist) then cruising to Rinca island passing several small island. Upon arrival exploring the island to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, which is up to 3 meters long and about 150 kg, weight. Lunch on boat, continue cruise to Komodo Island. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 8

KOMODO DRAGONS IN SIGHT A LA VISTA - PINK BEACH - MANTA POINT - LABUAN BAJO


After having breakfast in your sailing directly to Loh Liang – the Ranger station in Komodo Island. By passing through many small islands, it will be 2 ½ hours to reach the pier of Komodo Island. After registering start to take basic trekking to see the GIANT RIZARD / KOMODO DRAGON and other wild animals as: Timor deer, wild pig, wild chicken and many variously of tropical bird. Please keep your look at any directions as sometimes you will also find young Komodo dragon hanging over the trees. A local ranger will be led you during the trek.

Return to the boat on to Pink beach for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. It is really spectacular and unspoiled coral reef and many color fish. Sail toward MANTA POINT to exploring Huge Mantas by snorkeling even watching from your boat trip. Lunch will be provided on board. Late in the afternoon back to Labuan Bajo harbor and transfer to hotel for overnight and Dinner.

Day 9

LABUAN BAJO - OUT


After breakfast, if we have time, we will visit to the Batu Cermin cave & local market before taking you to the airport for flight to next destination. Ends of tour and service from come2indonesia.com.
